2.2 SUBARU ENGINE AND RE-DRIVE • $3,500 • CLEANING OUT THE HANGAR • Subaru 2.2 liter engine be has a modified wiring harness with speed sensor bypass, factory computer, air flow sensor as well as a New Barnett 2-1 Shoebox gear re-drive. The Barnett Shoebox re-drive is new with massive bearings and the 2-1 (actually 1.97-1) should allow one to use a 68”-72” prop and use the high power band of the 2.2 to achieve the best in performance. I paid $3500 for the drive alone. The wiring harness is factory then stripped of all not needed wires and re-wrapped for a plug and play setup.
