This 1973 CJ-6A was completely overhauled by Yakity Yaks at Aurora, OR.

New smoke canopy glass

New seatbelts plus additional military quick-attach seatbelts (makes dual seatbelts)

New seat cushions and upholstery

New American tires

Aircraft wiring was redone, not by snipping unwanted wires, but by taking wire bundles apart and removing unnecessary wiring and adding appropriate new wiring for the addition of new avionics.

New avionics: Bendix/King KY97A Navcom

                       Collins Micro-line TDR-950 transponder

                       Trans-Cal SSD120 ALT/ encoder

                        PS Engineering PM 1000 II intercom

                        Pointer ELT

                        Garmin 90 GPS

                        Voltage regulator upgrade to a Standard VR-36

                        Wing tip strobe lights

                        Two Odyssey sealed batteries, new ‘04

Other upgrades include:

                        New all stainless steel engine exhaust

                        Oil cooler inlet door

                        Retractable step

                        Sunbrella deluxe canopy cover

                        Bulkhead divider for baggage compartment

                        Both cockpits and canopy frame were painted and instrument panels detailed. The altimeter and airspeed in the front pit were changed

                                  to U.S., and a G-meter was added.

                         All paint used was PPG Concept.

                         The aircraft was trimmed in Cambodian colors. This aircraft receives much attention at airshows.
