The 2012 CF-18 Demo Hornet will make some noise
like the 2011 Demo Hornet, shown here, did during the 2011 Waterloo Airshow |
Airshow performers include the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 2012 Demonstration Hornet, tearing up the skies with high speed passes and lots of noise. Everyone loves thrills that fast jets offer and the CF-18 and its pilot never fail to please. |

their 4-plane formation of Harvard aircraft. |
The airshow will take you back to the 1940s with a demonstration by the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association with their 4-plane formation flying one of the most widely used and well known training aircraft, the Harvard. Known as the T-6 Texan in the United States, this radial powered aircraft will have a unique loud sound of its own. |

There will be several aircraft on static display which may include a visit from a US Air Force C-130 Hercules or the RCAF CT-142 Dash 8, both of which attended the 2011 airshow. |
Canadian Red Bull Air Race pilot Pete McLeod will thrill crowds with his Edge 540. This powerful airplane can fly at speeds of up to 402kmh with a +/-12G rating that would test the worth of any jet fighter pilot. One of the most versatile aerobatic airplanes in the skies today, Pete will wow the crowd by showing off its performance. |

The Jet Aircraft Museum (JAM) & Hammond Aviation bring you the T-33 "Mako Shark" flying a loud, fast show. Pick up their 2013 Dream Flight Lottery calendar while you're at the airshow! |
One of the more interesting of the older jets still flying today is the Canadair T-33, also known as the T-bird. Once flown by the RCAF, the Jet Aircraft Museum of Canada and Hammond Aviation will fly several passes with their "Mako Shark" T-33. Eventually, JAM plans to have all six of their T-birds operational and flying in airshows in Canada and the United States. |

There's always something for the smaller kids and this year appearing at the show is Otto the Helicopter. Otto is the very maneuverable Schweizer 300C helicopter that performs an assortment of unusual aerobatics and, especially for the kids, blows bubbles, plays with a yo-yo and races around barrels. It's entertainment for the little and big kid in all of us. |
