What's the story?
In 2019 I had been flying a Cessna 340 for a few years and I was ready to move into something nicer. I wanted air conditioning, radar, known ice, and a nicer looking plane. I also wanted an aircraft that had great avionics and had been excellently maintained. I found N421ES at TAS Aviation, one of the premiere Twin Cessna shops in the country. Since buying it we have been privileged to have this plane as our family flyer for the past several years. I've flown it around the western US and had many wonderful experiences. It's sad to see it go, but it is time to move on and it looks like a Pilatus PC-12 may be in in our future.
"Echo Sierra" is currently (late April 2024) in annual at KTTD so right now is a great time to come do a pre-buy inspection.
What do I love about flying a Cessna 421C?

There is something very special about cruising around in the flight levels at 210+ KTAS with your favorite people.
-
421 aircraft have MASSIVE baggage storage in the nose
-
Known Ice (FIKI) means it's pretty much an all weather flyer
-
The cabin is large and super quiet. Props turn at 1800 RPM in cruise so it's just a gentle hum
-
Did I mention it was fast?
-
5.2 PSI differential cabin means you're pretty much always above the weather instead of in the weather
-
I like flying a pretty looking airplane with two engines :p
