650 air / 750 engine time, 1999-2021.
From a parted-out homebuilt. Had a propstrike … the light Ivoprop shattered & saved the engine.
Paid for full gearbox inspection & gearbox rebuild by certified Rotax mechanic (dye penetrant, magnetic particle, runout etc) No slipper clutch on this version. Everything is still within specs.
Carburetors were fully overhauled by the mechanic in 2020. (New floats, seals, rubber, ultrasonic carb cleaning etc) Made it start & run nice & smooth.
Other accessories available too. (eg, Rotax coolant rad, Grand Rapids EIS engine instrument for the 912)

Were now converting the Rotax 582 into a 80hp 627cc Super Big Bore. These engines use everything I learned in the 17 years I overhauled the Rotax 2 stroke engines. They incorporate all my mods. The big news is that the 627 Super uses the stock exhaust keeping the cost down. We have been trying to do this for years, how to build the most reliable high hp Rotax 582 engines without having to break the bank. You have to start with my $2850 overhaul & your 582 requires the 26mm crankshaft for the super. The early cranks are limited to 75hp. For the 627 add $875 to the $2850 overhaul price.

Rotax Rick built in 2014. Sold to me with reportedly only 1.5 hrs. I've never run it. The carbs I recieved lack most needles and jets and have manual chokes. I traded Rick a C box for an E box 2.26 ratio and a recoil starter neither of which have been installed. Lacks an engine starter but I have a non Rotax starter and brushes that can be made to work, just lack the starter's drive gear. Rotax exhaust and muffler included. Exhaust has been sectioned to fit the muffler inside the cowl but has not been rewelded. For Rick's current price you can have an almost completely repaired Capella too.
