A65 AIR CAMPER • FOR SALE TO GOOD HOME • Spring flying is here, and this is the perfect airplane to enjoy it in! 1986 “Pietenpol Air Camper” (it’s registered as a Piet, but is largely GN-1 - wider cockpit!) Restored in 2019 by an A&P/IA. 395lb useful load. Covered in Ceconite. 450hrs SMOH on a reliable A65, compressions in the 70’s. No electrical. J-3 style gear, bungees new 2022. Always hangared, sweet little airplane. Times will increase as I enjoy flying it. Conditional inspection October 2024. I am building a biplane, and don’t have space for both. I’m sad to see it go! Restoration completed 8/23. Frame striped, Fuselage covered in Oratek Fabric by factory installer. Wings in excellent shape with fresh paint. Extensive sheet metal work, emphasis on access to the innards. Continental C-85-12F, B&C starter. High capacity battery, no gen, ADS-b mandate N/A! Simple to maintain, components off the shelf. Restored with supervision of 3 IA’s, impeccably maintained.
