Project Two: 1966 solo Turtle deck Fly Baby on landing gear with all wings and mechanics. Most instruments, fuel tank, seat, controls for throttle and stick, tires and wheels and tail wheel. This project is stripped down but intact. Used as a study for the first Fly Baby.

Beautiful, unique Bowers Fly Baby 1A. Exceptionally well built. 492 TTAF, 465 TSMOH on Continental A65-8 engine, 64 TSTOH with new Millennium cylinders. Very clean airplane with cruise speed of 90-95mph, 17 gal fuel tank. Built in 1973, recovered in 1993 with Stits Polyfiber. No electrical system. Lots of modifications by the builder to include stainless steel streamlined wires. Pure, simple fun to fly. Aircraft located in Poplar Grove, Illinois (C77).
